Venus employs a proprietary automated cell viability analysis control system developed by Newtonoptic. It utilizes a combination of stepper motors and manipulators to control sample entry, movement, and precise positioning. With the aid of a high-speed camera and analysis software, Venus captures images and performs cell counting analysis. Its fully automated design minimizes human errors, thereby enhancing experimental efficiency and accuracy.

Artificial intelligence algorithm
Venus Cell Counter utilizes Newtonoptic proprietary artificial intelligence algorithm. Through testing and verification, it has been shown to achieve a coefficient of variation (CV) of less than 10% for single-field counting and less than 5% for multi-field counting of the same sample. Additionally, Newtonoptic has optimized the algorithm specifically for samples with small diameters, high cell densities, cell clusters, and cell fragments, expanding the applicability of the cell counter.
A user-friendly interactive interface
Venus is a standalone device that does not require an additional computer, Users have the flexibility to choose their preferred analysis mode. The software provides analysis result graphs and detailed data on cell concentration, viability, diameter distribution, and more, which users can view and export in multiple formats to suit their needs. Additionally, the software is compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, ensuring data integrity, security, and traceability.
